About Katelyn

Hi! I come from a big family and have always loved working with kids. My little sisters are twins and growing up that gave me a lot of experience in taking care of children. Throughout my adolescence I babysat at every opportunity. I volunteered in my church nursery taking care of children of all ages and for my high school senior service class worked in a preschool class room for a semester with 2-year-olds. Although I do not have a lot of traditional experience, I think I make up for it in real world experience. Some unique skills I have are I love to cook and am comfortable cooking for other people, I have great time management, I love to play sports, and I am great at conflict resolution. Coming from a big family there was always some conflict between the siblings and I had to find a way to figure it out calmly and with as little tears as possible.
