About Katelyn

I'd describe my personality as cheerful, enthusiastic, and honest. I like working with kids because there is never a dull moment and kids always give you a new pair of lenses to look at life through. I'm looking for a job that gives me a chance to grow as a person and bring joy to those around me. I started working with kids when I was younger and volunteered at church with toddlers/baby-sit when I was about 12. In my spare time, I like to read and stay active. Thrifting is also a go-to for when I'm looking for inspiration. One thing you should know about me is I don't just want to "watch the kids" but also have a connection with you, as the parents to build trust. My skills include demonstrating correct patterns of behavior, listening to the kiddos needs and working with them to get through problems, and being not just a babysitter but a friend they hopefully would want to "hang out" with.
