About Katelyn

Hi! My name is Katelyn, I'm 27 and I've been working in child care for about 9 years. I just graduated from Worcester State University with my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Care, along with Sociology. I worked as a health teacher where I taught kindergarten through 5th grade at a public elementary school. I then decided to transition back to early childhood and became a pre-k teacher. I have experience with children as young as 4 weeks and up to 15 years old, including those with disabilities and behavioral challenges (such as autism, non-verbal autism, cerebral palsy, and ODD). I'm a very hands-on caregiver, I love dancing, outdoor play, crafts, sensory activities, and anything that keeps kids engaged and having fun while learning. I'm reliable, creative, and patient, and I always do my best to support each child's individual needs. I have full availability during the week. I'm happy to provide references upon request! (EEC certified, CPR/First Aid certified, own car)
