About Katelyn

Hi there! I live in LA since this January! My name is Katelyn, and I'm 28 years old, and I have 11 years of experience working with children from 2 months - 18 years. I am extremely passionate about working with children and I value creating a safe and nurturing space for growth and development. This job is perfect for me! I have my own car and I love spending time outdoors! The first Daycare I worked in is a Special Needs daycare called The Cisco Center in Severna Park, MD. I worked with children from ages 2-18 with all different disabilities. Since then I have nannied for children ages 2 months - 12 years old. My most recent job was working as a 1 on 1 caregiver for a girl with Down Syndrome. I was with her for 4 years. I currently work with a 30-year-old with severe Autism and I stay overnights with him - After working with someone with special needs for a long time - I am really missing working with babies and kids! I am CPR/ First-aid certified.
