About Katelyn

Hello! My name is Katelyn and I am 20 years old. I'm currently looking for either a part or full time nanny position. In High School I took a Child Development class that spent the 1st half of the semester teaching us how a child develops from birth up until age 5. The 2nd part of the semester we turned our class into a daycare for children ages 3-5. While doing this I had to lesson plan activities for the children, and keep them safe and happy while they were there. In August of 2018 I started off college as an Early Elementary Education major and took an Intro to Education class. During that semester I spent time in a Kindergarten classroom working with the children and shadowing the teacher. Over the last year and a half I have worked as a reading and writing tutor in both a 2nd and 3rd classroom, as well as nannying for a family with a 2-year-old girl. I have also taken a babysitting class and am CPR certified. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your family!
