Hi, my name is Katelyn. I am 27 years old and have been involved in childcare for over 10 years. I have worked in professional childcare positions for 5 years. I currently work as a part-time nanny for a family on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I am looking for other families to provide care for on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Katelyn was both my first’s daycare teacher from age 3 months to 1.5 years as well as my second baby’s nanny from 3 months to 9 months. We were unable to secure a daycare spot for my second baby and felt extremely lucky that Katelyn was available to watch her until we were offered a spot at a center. She is calm, patient, sweet, and truly the only person I would trust to watch my babies as infants. She communicates really well, listens and addresses all my concerns, and takes care of my babies the way I would take care of them. She stays calm during even the most extreme meltdowns and soothes them as well as I would. My second was unwilling to take bottles from anyone at any time (even feeding therapists) and Katelyn patiently worked with her daily and has been the only person successful at getting her to take bottles. In addition to being an amazing caregiver, she is fun to hang out with and I often look forward to chatting with her before and after work. Both my kids absolutely adore her and if our family could afford a full time nanny we would have hired her in a heartbeat. She is truly the best decision you can make when selecting a caregiver and I cannot say enough good things about her.
