I recently relocated from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I spent the last 7 years building my career in digital marketing & advertising and nannying & babysitting for local families. After working remotely while traveling across the country, exploring new towns/cities to start the next chapter of my life, I decided on San Diego! My schedule is very flexible, as I left my job to re-evaluate my career path (which may involve going back to school in the next year, but not in the next 6 months). I love kids and have over 12 years of childcare experience with infants, toddlers, and children up to 15 years old, as well as 3 summers of tutoring and mentoring children kindergarten through six grade. Parents who have hired me in the past have described me as their most reliable and trusted sitter/nanny while the kids usually describe me as the most silly and fun!

Let me say: WOW. Katelyn is a total pro, so responsible, amazingly positive and energetic. We were traveling to San Diego from the east coast. We are a family of four little boys, ranging from 6yo to 18mos and she took the tribe on for most of the day, from breakfast through lunch, so my husband and I could go scuba diving. She arrived on the scene with warm confidence, attentiveness to the children's needs and desires and such enthusiasm, everyone was instantly comfortable and ready for a fun day. Scavenger hunts, tree-climbing, snacks and art projects. She did it all and my husband and I arrived home to hear all five of them laughing and happy. My 6yo, generally a critic, asked if she could spend the rest of our vacation with us. My husband, a tougher critic, said he wished we had someone like here back home! Katelyn is fabulous. You'll be so happy you hired her.
