About Kate

My name is Kate and I'm a college student at Agnes Scott College studying history and Spanish with hopes to attend law school. Throughout my life, I have always found so much joy in engaging with kids of all ages! I was a sleep away camp counselor for two summers, and most recently worked for a TFA affiliated program to teach 7th grade English to underserved communities. During the academic year, I balance being a full time student with working 20+ hours a week as a nanny to 3 wonderful kids ages 4, 8, and 10. From December-March I will be in SC before I study abroad for a semester in Chile. I am WFA, first aid, CPR (infant, child, adult), and AED certified. I feel very comfortable caring for children with medical needs such as allergies and asthma. I also have experience working with kids who have additional needs such as autism, ADHD, anxiety, and ODD.
