I am looking for a family to help out 1-2 days during the week (m-f) on a regular basis. A little bit about my experience: Nannied for 6 years with a family from the time their youngest was 5 months till he was in first grade. I also have a great amount of my experience from working as co/lead teachers in the childcare setting. My primary age range was 6 weeks old to 36 months. I recently transitioned out of working in center care, where in my last position I worked for over a year in a Reggio-inspired childcare center with infants (6 weeks to 24m) I enjoy using my creative mind to foster educational concepts with-in the home. I believe that children learn through play and keep that in mind when working in the home to educate and foster their growing minds. I am currently working part-time in a children's boutique In my spare time I'm usually looking for my next recipe, crafting and spending time with my husband and family.

Katee and I started off as co-workers and quickly became friends. Katee is a hard-working, dedicated, and passionate individual. It was truly a pleasure working along side with her. She came up creative and fun lesson plans for the kids while incorporating new skill-sets for the toddlers to learn and/or practice (e.g. fine motor skills, manners, color/shape/animal recognition). Katee is truly passionate about working with kids and cares for each and every one of them. She establishes partnerships with parents of the toddlers in her room so they are able to work together and be consistent at school and at home. She is always on time - early in fact! Katee is a reliable, passionate, and caring person. You can tell she loves working with kids and truly cares about their well-being.
