About Kate

I have many years of experience in family settings and also a child care setting. As a child care worker I was responsible for the supervision of 20+ children at one time. I was the assistant to the head counselor at a summer camp and an after school program. Each day I had to plan social and educational activities. Also worked with children who had special needs and made accommodations to address their individual needs. In addition, I ensured that the children were having a fun but safe time. Put together snack time, and supervised children in the pool and helped them feel comfortable in the water when needed. Lastly, I interacted with parents about their child's day. In addition I have had numerous babysitting jobs for kids ages 1-8. When I am with kids I absolutely love being active, doing art projects, reading, playing games, and just having a fun time with the kids.
