About Kate

I'm a mother to three wonderful children. My boys are finishing their freshman and sophomore year of college. My daughter is finishing her sophomore year at Beaufort High School. I've been able to raise my children at home while working mostly part time at our small business. I'm looking to help another family care for young children. I'd describe my personality as kind, caring and trustworthy. I like working with kids because I enjoy the innocence and sense of wonder. I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling, happy and enjoyable. I started working with kids when I became a mother 20 years ago. My children are 20, 19 & 15. In my spare time, I like to cook, garden & run. One thing you should know about me is I love a good schedule for children. I think a good schedule helps parents and children know what to expect during the day. But a schedule can always be changed for each day or event. My skills include playing, engaging, & running the home while taking care of children.
