This review is not intended to reflect the qualifications Kate may have as caregiver or her ability for rapport building with children. It is intended solely to reflect our experience of hiring Kate. We hired Kate for a date night. My husband and I were going to see a show. I also was supposed to meet up with a close friend that traveled hours from out of town. After much correspondence with Kate detailing the job. She never called to state that she would be late or never gave us advance notification she could not make it. In fact she did NOT SHOW UP AT ALL!!! When I finally reached her, she said she was "out". It felt her response was completely irreverent. She did not even bother with an apology. This is not mention the money lost on salon expenses for a nice evening out, time coordinating with Kate, prepping the house and kids. For parents looking for dependability I do not recommend Kate as a sitter. I would not hire her again.
