About Kate

My name is Kate and a current middle school science teacher. I am looking for an opportunity to provide tutoring and/or homework assistance for a family in the Berkeley area. I will be graduating June with my Masters in Education from the University of Notre Dame, and Secondary Math and Science teaching credentials. My undergraduate degree is in Biology, from Gonzaga University. Additionally, I was a childcare volunteer at the Childbirth and Parenting Assistance in Spokane, Washington while attending Gonzaga. I have taken math courses through Calculus, Statistics, Upper Division Biology courses, and many advanced placement English courses. While my experience is mainly in tutoring middle school and high school math but I am comfortable with all levels of math and other subjects such as reading. Working with students is my passion and I look forward to an opportunity to help see your student thrive!
