About Kate

I'd describe my personality as friendly, responsible and fun. I like working with kids because kids bring out my inner child and there is never a dull moment. Watching children feels natural and not like a job to me. My style of working with kids is to be calm, fair, collected, structured, using gentle guidance to help a child navigate their emotions. I started working with kids when I was 17. I've always had baby sitting jobs starting from when I was in high school. In the past, I've worked for Center for Autism as a behavioral technician. I would teach kids appropriate behaviors and how to perform the activities of daily living in fun and creative ways! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my kids, go to the ymca, check out new trails in the area. I like to stay active and spend time outdoors.
