About Katalina

I have over 10 years of experience working with the elderly. My first hands on experience with the elderly was during the time my grandparents were sick with cancer back in 2011. I grew up watching them babysit and care for me from an infant into adulthood, so it was really hard to see them in their latter years battling with cancer and needing full assistance. We kept them close to home so that they could continually be surrounded with loving family. It is a tender feeling you get to care for someone in the way you were once cared for. Every step of the way, I learned more and more of what it takes to care for someone who cannot care for themselves. Although my maternal grandparents and my paternal grandfather have all passed on, that experience opened up a place in my heart that I continually fill as I care for many elderly folks. It is a blessing to be able to help someone take their last few steps in life as they have helped many of us take our many first steps in life.
