About Kat

Hi! I'm Kat, and caring for children has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As the oldest sister to four brothers and two sisters, I've spent most of my life helping care for younger siblings. That naturally led me to years of childcare experience, including working as a nanny and in a variety of youth development roles. Professionally, my career has focused on public health, education, and supporting families. For the past several years, I've worked in health equity and maternal and infant health. Like many people in public health, I've been affected by funding cuts in the field, so I'm excited to reconnect with the work that first inspired me, supporting children and families directly. I hold degrees in Youth Development and Education and am creative, dependable, resourceful, and kind. I'd love to learn more about your family's needs. Let's chat!
