About Kasey

Hello! I'm a career educator currently staying at home with my baby boy and looking for a couple of families to work with in foundational literacy or math support. While I have an extensive background in both subjects, I have a Masters degree in mathematics education and that is where my primary interest lies. My belief is that kids will love math when it is taught as a puzzle to be solved rather than a series of algorithms to be memorized. I can offer support in building foundational numeracy skills for young children or supporting older students in catching up on missed skills or homework help. I particularly enjoy working with students with autism or executive functioning disorders. Please feel free to reach out if you think we might be a good fit!
