About Karyn

I'd describe my personality as fun, energetic and positive. I like working with kids because they have a unique perspective on the world and help keep life interesting. I'm looking for a job that keeps me busy and allows me to enjoy the day. I started working with kids when I was a preteen through babysitting neighborhood kids. I tutored in high school. I worked for a daycare before I became an elementary teacher in 2000. My oldest child was born in 2006 and I have been teaching since 2000! In my spare time, I like to read and spend time outside. One thing you should know about me is I care for all children the way I would want someone to take care of my own. My skills include engaging activities, safety and maintaining calm and structure.
