About Karstin

Growing up my family always had a dog: Pomeranian, Dachshund, & some strays which were my favorites. My grandparents had a farm filled with dairy & beef cattle, lots barn cats & always a blue heeler. Later they raised the sweetest little pugs. My aunt never allowed animals in her house until she had those pugs, she adored them & us kids fought over who got to take care of them. I grew up with dogs: we had a Pomeranians, dachshunds & some rescue dogs which were my favorites. With my own children, they had a poodle-terroir mix & an Apple headed Blue Haired Lynx Siamese cat, she is still with us & the sweetest thing you ever saw, so gentle. When my eldest daughter was living at home finishing college she picked up a stray long hair cat that is still the Apple of her eye & my youngest has chickens & just began training a Search & Rescue German Shepherd puppy who stole my heart when they visited this past week.
