About Karrie

I started in home care when I was helping my fiancé with landscaping for a client of his. I was approached by his client and asked if I would be interested in helping with his wife. I immediately said yes. She was wheelchair bound and had polio since she was a small child. That relationship grew to me being a care provider for her for almost two years. Unfortunately the time came and she had to go to a nursing home due to the progression of dementia. I was attending Dental Assisting school when I was asked by my Fiancé mother if I would be interested in caring for a client of hers, (she cleaned houses) immediately I agreed to meet with their family and was hired right away. I spent a year with her assisting with many daily routines such as bathing, dressing, light house work and meal prep. I assisted her to grocery stores and Doctors appointments.
