About Karma

Hi, my name is Karma, and I'm a nursing major in college with 5 years of experience working with children ages 2-12 in both educational and recreational settings. I began as a children's recreation counselor at an after-school day camp in 2021 and also tutored middle school students. I worked as a senior camp counselor at BAR-T in Montgomery County, supervising groups of 20-30 children, planning activities, assisting with homework, providing parent updates, and creating safe, engaging learning opportunities. I've also cared for infants and toddlers in a church nursery. I'd describe myself as thoughtful, optimistic, and responsible. I enjoy working with kids because I love making a positive impact, supporting their growth, and giving parents peace of mind. Being around kids keeps things lively and fun. My top skills include patience, creativity and engagement, and clear communication.
