About Karlee

Hello, my name is Karlee! My home is Miami, but am currently pursuing a degree in Child Studies and Public Health at Santa Clara University, where I have gained valuable knowledge about child development, health, and safety. For the past 3 years I have been employed at LifeTime Kids Academy in Coral Gables, where I worked with children ages 3 months to 11 years. During my summers I have worked at Ransom Everglades Summer Camp with ages 10 through 11. Through these opportunities I learned how to care for children in creative, fun, and engaging ways! My schedule is very flexible and I have some proficiency in spanish! I am super passionate about mindfulness and wellbeing. I have received a certification in MBSR (Mindfulness based stress reduction), providing me with the tools to care for children in a compassionate and understanding way! In my spare time, I like to run, swim, and spend time with my family and friends! I have two dogs, so I love animals :)
