About Karla

I'm a proud mother of 5, ages 19 to 26 & Grammy of 2. I have a Master's degree in Education with 7+ yrs. teaching experience in public education at both MS & HS levels. In early years of motherhood, I operated in-home daycares for infants to pre-school aged children. I've taught and assisted many times in church SS classes. I've led and assisted with VBS, youth groups and activities to include attending week-long summer camps and weekend retreats. For military families reviewing my profile, I'm very familiar with life in the military and the challenges that are presented along the journey. Thank you for your dedication and service! I have a genuine love for children and enjoy teaching and nurturing them. Activities I take pleasure in are walking, reading, crafting, healthy eating, spending time in the kitchen and listening to music.
