About Karla

I'd describe my personality as caring, responsible, and compassionate. I love caring for seniors because they're similar to children at heart and I enjoy giving them the attention and love they deserve. I have 20 years of experience working in hospitals with adults and seniors. Geriatrics is my specialty and I have loved every moment of it. Caring for my patients was incredibly fulfilling as I had the chance to fill their days with joy and love. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and doesn't require being on my feet for long periods of time nor heavy lifting. I started caring for seniors in my late twenties working as a home health aide and in hospitals. In my spare time, I like to garden, cook, and go on walks with my dog. One thing you should know about me is I'm extremely loving and passionate about my job. My skills include feeding, personal care, and medication management.
