About Karla

Hello! My name is Karla, I'm an Iowa City-based professional photographer and moved here in August of 2017. I've also done multiple types of caretaking over the years since moving here from children to pets! Winters bring a slower season for photos, so I channel my passion for pets and children into part-time gigs. With almost 5 years of nanny experience, I've nurtured not only children but also their beloved pets, managing routines with care. Having undertaken many pet-sitting roles, I have references to vouch for my reliability and genuine love for animals. Currently, my mornings are free, making it the perfect opportunity to extend my pet care services. From daycare pickups in the afternoons 2:30-5:30 to dedicating my mornings to your furry friends.
