About Karla

Hi there! My name is Karla serving the San Gabriel Valley area. I graduated with my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San José State University. I have taken multiple child development courses throughout my education and have experience working with children and adults of all ages. I have worked specifically with families seeking speech and language services for their children ages 1-3, including educating parents about the social-emotional connection, being in "tune" with their child, creating an environment where their child will need to communicate for activities of daily living, and modeling language to describe the environment. I also have 2 years of experience in being a nanny with ages 5 months - 1 year. I am looking for part-time and/or individual work positions. Hope to hear from you soon! Thank you!
