About Karissa

Hi! My name is Karissa; a professional nanny and early childhood educator with over 9 years of experience. I'm currently a full-time nanny and worked as a lead teacher in a preschool 2s classroom, supporting children's social-emotional development, routines, communication, and play-based learning. I have strong experience with infants, multiple children at once, & nanny shares, & I'm confident managing daily routines including feeding, naps, diapering, transitions, and age-appropriate activities. My caregiving style is warm, attentive, & intentional. I prioritize creating a calm, predictable environment where children feel safe, supported, & encouraged to explore through screenfree play, reading, outdoor time, & creative activities. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, COVID-19 vaccinated, a great swimmer, and have 12 ECE units completed. I'm reliable, communicative, & take pride in being someone families can truly depend on.
