About Karishma

Hello!! My name is Karishma. I'm a senior at the Culinary Institute of America. I'm going for my BA im Culinary Science and Culinary Arts. I've been taking care of kids for as long as I can remember. I have a younger brother, I grew up as a Sunday school song leader, and transitioned into a TA role. I got certified in TAPS, which helps student TAs learn to work with kids of all abilities. I would babysit with the parents around 13, then at 16 I started babysitting for money. I always have a go bag filled with activities and coloring books. I love taking the kids out for outdoor activities. I have a car, and my friends, my grandma, and my mom would say I am a safe driver. I also love staying in, playing make-believe, dressing up, cooking, or whatever the kid loves. I have also been fostering dogs for almost 7 years. I also have a dog of my own back home; her name is Clover. Overall, I am creative, empathetic, and ready to go on an adventure with your kids!
