About Karin

Hello! I have recently moved back to NY and am looking for a part time childcare position. I have been a professional nanny for 20 years. I have experience working with children aged infant to 11 and am a very responsible and reliable care taker. I am interested in the education and development of young children and babies and have some experience with Montessori style learning. In addition to being an experienced childcare provider, I am also an artist so my schedule is flexible. I love doing art projects with children, reading to/with them, going on nature walks and hikes, going on outings to museums, libraries and parks building with blocks and Legos, doing puzzles and engaging in imaginary play. I also am interested in teaching life skills such as getting dressed, cooking, cleaning and social skills. I also love cooking and do not have a problem doing meal prep. I am willing to do light house work, errands and child's laundry. I am comfortable navigating the city with children.
