About Karin

I have tutored students in reading, writing, and other components of English since I was an undergraduate student, giving me over a decade of experience in the field. Additionally, I am an award-winning writer and an expert in writing and grammar. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami with a degree in Communication Studies and Religious Studies. I also have a graduate degree from the University of Leeds in Disability Studies and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University in The City of New York. My writing has been published in anthologies and publications from the Wall Street Journal to the Washington Post. My work has also been turned into teaching materials for students at various grade levels. I believe everyone can learn and succeed; it's just a matter of making learning accessible to each learner, which I excel at due to my personal and professional experiences.
