About Karina

Experience: 5 yrs

Nurturing children and supporting families is truly my passion. With five years of experience caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers, I offer a calm and patient approach. I am comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. I believe in open communication with parents. I provide verbal updates at pickup and regular check-ins via text or phone call. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing board games, solving puzzles, and encouraging outdoor play. Speaking both English and Spanish allows me to connect with a wider range of families. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family!

I have known Karina since my first child was three months old; we started working together then, and since that time, I have frequently entrusted the care of my children—now two of them—to her. She is a lovely young woman with a Uruguayan accent—sharing a Latin background with my family—and, most importantly, she truly loves working with children; it is a real gift. I have complete confidence in her; she knows how to prepare their meals, is incredibly creative during playtime. Highly recommend
