About Karina

Hi there! I have been working with children for about 8 years and love it! Kids are fun to work with because as much as I love teaching them new things, they are constantly teaching me too! I learn how to find value in the small things, have more fun, and be more patient, caring, and kind! I grew up always wanting a career that could help others- which pushed me to pursue a career in counseling. Along the way deciding this career path, my experiences baby sitting and volunteering with kids helped me realize my passion working with children and helping others! I now attend Gonzaga university and will graduate in May with my masters in clinical counseling! I hope to specialize with adolescents and adults working with sports - as I am currently a D1 athlete in cross country and track at GU! In my free time, I love getting outside or being with those I love! In particular, running fun trails, spending time on the lake, or skiing in the winter when possible!
