About Karey

I have been tutoring privately for 40 years. After earning a BS in Mathematics with distinction, I taught high school mathematics for six years in NM. I have earned a CLT Certification Level 3 from GTCC Community College in NC. I home schooled my children and others. While tutoring, I work on test anxiety and build students self confidence. I want every student to love the beauty of mathematics. My experience includes students of all ages as I have taught in the public high school, private high school, and community college as well as tutoring younger students for the last 40 years. Additionally, I owned a tutoring company with 60 tutors in which I assessed students abilities and assigned tutors to meet their individual needs. I am also a Home School Consultant and can help you set up your own home school. My rates are $100 for the initial in person 1. 5 hours and tutoring $50 per session weekly or $45 per session for 2 or more weekly scheduled sessions.

Karey is one of the kindest most loving people I ever met. She is very patient and has the ability to break down difficult math problems so that the student can understand how to work them. She not only is fully able to teach math, she will go the extra mile to make sure the student is cared for and fully understands the concepts being taught.
