About Karen

I am CPR, AED, and First Aid certified and have completed Maryland childcare health and safety training, so safety is always my top priority. I love planning engaging activities like crafts, outdoor play, board games, and educational games, and I'm happy to help with homework, bedtime routines, light housekeeping, and meal prep. I am a full-time student (7:45 AM-2:30 PM) and currently work with children Monday-Thursday from 3-6 p.m. I'm available for babysitting after work in the evenings, as well as most weekends and school breaks. I also have reliable transportation to get to and from jobs, though I am not able to drive children. I'm also very comfortable with pets-I have a dog myself-so homes with dogs are no problem! I can comfortably care for two children. My goal is to provide a nurturing environment where your children can learn and grow. I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm and experience to your family.
