About Karen

Hi! My name is Karen, I'm 33, I live in Elmhurst, and I'm comfortable babysitting all ages. I am a Spanish Native Speaker and I consider myself responsible, reliable, trustworthy, friendly and easy going. I currently work in a school as an Assistant Teacher in a mixed age (3-6) Montessori classroom. I have 3 years of experience with the Montessori Method and I am working towards obtaining my Montessori Early Childhood Certification. I hold a B. A. in Spanish and English Literature from my country where I was a teacher for about 3 years. There I taught English to children (age 18 months-13 years) and Spanish Literature to teenagers. Before the pandemic, I was tutoring Spanish to children 5 to 8 and babysitting on occasion for two families: My current availability is in the afternoons on week days after finishing my shift on school (depending on location, I could be available earlier than the times in my profile) I am also available on weekends, and for the summer.
