About Karen

I have over 20 experience caring for newborns and infants, including premature and medically fragile babies. I worked in Newborn nursery, and NICU for over 20 years. I am a newborn feeding specialist and lactation expert, with extensive experience supporting families with breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, feeding routines, and helping parents feel confidentwith their baby's individual needs. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have specialized knowledge of infant and child development. My NICU experience has taught me to be calm, patient, attentive, and prepared to recognize changes in a baby's behavior or condition. I truly love caring for infants and supporting newparents during those precious early months. I also have extensive experience caring for toddlers, & school aged children. My goal is to provide safe, nurturing, knowledgeable care whilerespecting each family's routines and parenting style.
