Hi! My name is Karen. I am a very loving and nurturing person. I love to watch the little ones get excited after learning new things. Both of my biological kids were in the gifted program in elementary school and joined during that time. I think that raising kids to become smart, successful, sweet, loving and caring people, is the most important job in the world. I am a green belt in the martial arts so, I'm very cautious about my surroundings! I've also trained to become a Scuba Dive master and have traveled the most beautiful, exotic and remote parts of the world. I was also my daughters Girls Scout leader and my sons Boy Scout leader. Karen's a wonderful nanny and wonderful person. She'd still be working for us if our nanny of 7 years hadn't decided she wanted to follow my family to St. Louis to keep working for us, and 7 years outweighs our 4 months with Karen. But the kids and I think Karen's really terrific. She's extremely responsible, always on time and never out sick, takes great care of the kids, and is really helpful around the house. She's game to take the kids anywhere, or do any errand or task around the house that I ask her to. The kids, especially my little one who's with her all day, really love her. She plays with them, reads to them, takes them to fun places around town, encourages them to pick up their own toys, takes care of all kid-related household tasks (including laundry, lunch packing, grocery shopping, feeding the kids, fixing our family dinner). This is her first professional child care job, but she's raised two of her own kids so she obviously has lots of experience, and I really like her way with my kids, kind and fun, but firm and consistent. The kids are thriving under her care. We highly recommend Karen as a nanny.
