My name is Karen, I'm 29 years old, I'm from El Salvador and my first language is Spanish. I came to the USA as an AuPair back in 2015. I was trained in NYC with an AuPair agency before my program started. I finished my program successfully after two years back in 2017. I am now a US resident, and I've been working as a full time nanny for 9 years. I have had a valid driver's license since I was 16. I'm comfortable driving kids, have a clean driving record. I'm reliable, flexible, very nurturing, responsible, energetic, can provide great references, and absolutely LOVE children. I enjoy reading, doing crafts and art projects, play dress up and doing face paint on kiddos. I also enjoy taking walks, hikes, playing sports and going to libraries/playgrounds/museums etc. I'm super versatile! I have experience with infants, toddlers, early school age, elementary school age, and preteens. I am currently looking for occasional babysitting and a part time position on the weekends.

Karen is tremendous -- caring, responsible, thoughtful, willing to learn new skills to keep up with our very wonderful and complicated child. She also has the energy, stamina and playfulness that he needs. Our seven year old adores her -- and we can't imagine how we would have gotten through the last year without her.
