I love children and have worked with children for many years in the pediatric residency program at University of Michigan. I am also blessed with two grandchildren of my own. I always strive to do my best in any avenue of my life. 15 years plus experience with private home health care for the elderly. 10 years private child care experience. 25 years housekeeping and private office cleaning experience. Karen has been caring for our girls since May of this year- and she is beyond amazing. She is punctual and dependable - the basics - but goes above and beyond to create a loving, educational environment. There are always outdoor play, walks to the pond, craft time, and so much else. She engages the girls with their love of reading and music, and adventure as well with picnics outside and at the pond, and trips around the yard. She is incredibly communicative, ensure we know whats happening during and at the end of the day, and sharing insights on what the girls are learning and doing. She also sends us notes and pictures during the day so we feel like we're not missing too much. Without being asked, she always checks for any laundry, dishes, or meal prep that can be done to help us out. I cannot recommend her enough, for any care needs you might have. We are sad to see her transition back to her full time job - we will miss Miss Karen!
