About Karen

I'd describe my personality is kind, loyal and trustworthy. I like tutoring because I love one one one time with students to help target specific needs. I'm looking for a job that works around my teaching schedule and is flexible for me on the days that I have my kids. I started tutoring when nieces needed help with their homework. It's difficult for parents who are not sitting in the classroom and did not learn common core. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. I also enjoy anything active and outdoors! One thing you should know about me is that i've been teaching for 24 years and have lots of tricks of my sleeves to help teach and engage students. My skills include teaching reading, math and writing I have taught first and third grade.
