About Karen

Hi, my name is Karen. I am a school-based occupational therapist working with adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and psychiatric needs. I have a bachelor's degree in exercise science and a master's in occupational therapy. I am currently working on my doctorate at Columbia University. I seek flexible opportunities to work with families to help out when needed. I have experience teaching and tutoring at the college and graduate level as a teaching assistant. I was also a swim instructor for many years. Lastly, I currently assist students within the classroom and provide services to students ages 1 to 21 years old. I can help with tutoring, college applications, and date night. I can also help during school breaks as I have breaks following the Long Island public school calendar.
