About Karen

My mother taught me to sew when I was very young about 10 yrs of age. I have been sewing for myself, kids, grandchildren, my home.... draperies, bedspreads, pillows, RV seat cushions etc. ever since. I started making my own clothes at that point on and every dime I made babysitting was spent on thread and fabric at the local fabric store. Lots of miles of sewing. Home economics class came very easy for me in school! I am a very meticulous, thorough and patient person so therefore make a very good teacher. Sewing is a dying art and if I can help keep it going in my own little way I will. Every girl should know how to sew, at least a button on. I also do needle felting, beading and all sorts of things.
