About Karen

My name is Karen, I am 20-years-old. I speak both Spanish and English, love to bake and sometimes try to cook, but with a passion for working with children. As the oldest of seven siblings, I have always held a natural inclination towards caring for and guiding others. This passion led me to begin volunteering with children at my church during my freshman year of high school. After completing my high school education in 2022, I decided to venture out and gain more experience in working with children. I traveled to Colorado Springs and became a counselor at a traveling summer camp, where I had the opportunity to engage with children from various backgrounds and create meaningful connections with the returning from Colorado, I was able to further my career in early childhood education. I got a position as a teacher assistant at a preschool, where I dedicated myself to supporting the growth and development of young children. Later I become a lead teacher for a early preschool class.
