About Karen

Hi, I volunteer at my local church as a Sunday school teacher and from there I discovered the passion that I have for children. I landed my first official job as an after school counselor, which responsibilities included reading time, homework assistance, plan activities, snack time, and supervise outdoor time. After this job I began working for a Montessori School as a teacher assistance and after a few years I moved up as a lead teacher, I enjoyed working in the Montessori school for 3 years. However, I started babysitting and learn that I enjoy dedicating one on one attention to children and open the door to babysitting. I found a family that offer me a full time position and took it. I have also done ESL tutoring for STARR. I'm a responsible, dedicated, reliable, respectful and patient which I believe all this characteristic help me engage well with children. - Clean driving record - Clean criminal record -CPR certificate - COVID Vaccine
