About Karen

I am currently a nanny for a family with 5 children, ages 4-14. With the youngest heading to pre-K, I am actively looking for another full-time position. My primary responsibilities are for the three youngest, ages 4-8. We spend our days doing crafts, story time, journaling, "school work" (learning letters, numbers, counting, etc. as well as summer school work for the others), as well as a multitude of other activities & outings. I did school drop offs/ pick ups, transportation to after school activities, helped with homework, and housework. About me: I am an empty-nester with two grown daughters, both who share my love for children & learning (an early childhood educator and a doctor of physical therapy). Most of my career has been in the corporate world & I am finally at a place where I can change that and do what I've always wanted to do. I have a strong belief in the importance of early childhood education & believe that a nanny should be more than just a babysitter.
