About Karen

I've been caring for children for over 25 years including 3 years as the director of a center and I'm passionate about fostering their growth and development. I'm patient and calm, and my creativity keeps things interesting. I'm also certified in First Aid and CPR. As a certified teacher with early child development coursework, I can help your child learn through play. I love educational games, puzzles, and board games. I can provide a learning experience in a home setting. If you're looking for infant care I am more than willing to do that also! I have several years working with infants in a childcare center. I welcome and will adept to any schedule you have set for your child I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and will follow the communication preferences you set for discussing your child's day or any issues that arise. I can help with light housekeeping and cooking meals, too. I'm excited about the opportunity to make a positive impact on your child's life.
