About Karen

I have raised three wonderful and well-adjusted children of my own that are 22, 19, and 11. I just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary. I have a degree in Psychology and I am certified to teach k-8. I have worked with infants through school age at Children's learning Adventure in Scottsdale for 2 years and have substitute taught for over 10 years. I ran a daycare out of my home for two years and have many years of experience watching children in various settings. I have also worked as a counselor and a case manager in the past for Comcare and behavioral health centers. I can run errands, meal prep, do laundry and general cleaning. I am energetic and a multi-tasker and I am always on time and reliable. I love to read with children, play games, and help with homework. I am fun-loving and always kind. I am also good with pets and have always owned dogs myself. I love to play sports, games, and sing karaoke. I have my own transportation and don't mind driving and running errands.
