About Karen

Aiding in shaping our future generation has been a decades-long passion of mine. I am a Montclair mom with more than 31 years of experience working with children (including my own). I bring a lighthearted, fun approach to each interaction while maintaining authoritative grace. I hold a college degree and have more than eight years experience of teaching music and art enrichment at Early Child Development centers such as Kidville Montclair and Denville as well as public schools preK through eight and all age levels at Schools of Rock. I encourage daily creative play as well as physical activities. I reinforce the importance of abiding by household rules and follow preferred communication methods for keeping you informed about your child's day. I am comfortable caring for up to four children at a time. Willing to assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, carpooling, pet care and travel. Let's chat!
