About Karen

Hello :) I am a homeschooling mother with over 25 years experience working with children and families. I have three daughters (5, 8, 12), and we're looking to add more to our days by welcoming children into our home for learning and care. We are a foster family and I have experience caring for babies - middle schoolers. In the past 12 years, I've welcomed multiple children for care into our home. I'll work with you individually to come up with a plan of play, learning, and growth for your little one(s). We use minimal technology and I approach our days with hands-on learning. All activities are age-appropriate, thoughtfully planned and executed with growth and creativity in mind. I've worked with children with special needs and IEPs and am happy to accommodate your little one. We take advantage of city living and regularly get out to various parks, libraries, and museums. I'm happy to provide references and a resume. Let's learn and grow together!
