About Karen

I'd describe my personality as positive, confident, and fun. I like working with kids because I love seeing them learn and grow. I'm a sub teacher and I enjoy helping them open up their minds and process new information. I'm looking for a job that fits my schedule and is enjoyable. I started working with kids when I was a teen. I babysat for local families for years. In my spare time, I like to play with my dog, crochet, volunteer and sew. One thing you should know about me is that I'm genuine. There's no pretense about me, and I'm sincerely trying to help people out. My skills include having a creative mind to come up with fun things to do. I also have a great ability to connect with kids on their level especially if they are sorting out their emotions. I can make lunch or snacks, fold clothes or help with household chores.
